0: eldritch!Gabriel and eldritch!Castiel

Bit to late to this party, but something I wanted to toy around with. A while back (not sure if it's still ongoing) there were some artists on tumblr who were toying around for what the true form of the angels on Supernatural look like. The show doesn't say much about the true forms, other than seeing them would burn your eyes out and they are immense. Eldritch abominations, if you will.

Here's the current state of eldritch!Castiel. Nothing says weird like eyes everywhere.

Still working on some anatomy issues with the perspective on the elongated limbs, odd feet, and feathers.

Eldritch!Gabriel is mostly a mix of various traditional tricksters. Fox. Coyote. Magpie. Weasel. Not sure if the way the mouth opens right now makes any sense.

The single head looked too normal next to an angel of lesser status like Castiel. More developed sketches to follow.


Orientation week is underway here at ACCD! Still too cut off from the internet to do daily posts, but there is a big summary coming at the end of the week.
